This course is designed for electricians, engineers, and anyone looking to upskill or get started in the solar energy industry.

• Electricians require an unrestricted electrical licence issued by an Australian state or territory.
• All other students are required to have a statement of attainment in UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy design.

The delivery mode of this course is designed for busy tradespeople who do not have the time to attend lengthy face-to-face courses to expand their knowledge and skills: the fully flexible web-based format of the online component allows students to complete the theory in their own time.

GSES is a Nationally Recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 91461), and students who successfully complete all components of the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units of competency UEERE0054, UEERE0060, and UEERE0061. This meets the training component of Solar Energy Australia’s requirements for PV Design accreditation and Battery Storage Design accreditation.
