The GSES Electrical Principles course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental concepts of electrical engineering, tailored to cater to both beginners and individuals with a background in electrical work. It covers the Nationally Recognised Training unit of competency UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy design and is the essential prerequisite for non-electricians to enrol in the Solar Accreditation Australia design only accreditation courses.
If you are not an electrician, and want to be a SAA accredited designer, you need to complete this course before enrolling in the Grid-Connected PV Systems Design Only course.
If you don’t have any prior experience in electrical theory, you will find this course challenging but rewarding! It is a lengthy course (nominally 60 hours, but you may take more or less time to complete it) that covers the necessary electrical background to start your renewable energy design career.
If you are an engineer, or someone with extensive electrical knowledge aligned with the UEERE0051 unit you may be interested in doing the Electrical Principles Exam instead, which is a shortened version of this course only containing assessments with no tutor support.
GSES is a Nationally Recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 91461), and students who successfully complete all components of the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy design.
Please read the essential Course Information and Policies before purchasing this course.
